Our horseback guided tours around some of Metro Vancouver's most scenic parks are now available in 1 hour, 2 hour, half day and full day wilderness excursions.

1 hour  rides - Minimum 4 person reservation. 
2 hour rides - Minimum 2 persons.

Buntzen Lake

Located near Port Moody - 45 -60 minute drive from Vancouver.


2 hour ride to Eagle Ridge Vista. Bring your cameras for this unexcelled view of Buntzen Lake and Indian Arm.

2 hour lake side ride. An easy ride along the lakeside. A short stop with the horses at the swimming hole and then we return.

1/2 and full day adventure ride around Buntzen lake. 1/2 day includes a rest stop overlooking the waterfall. Full day ride ride up to Eagle Ridge Vista for a breathtaking view of Indian Arm and Burrard Inlet and a trip around the lake that includes a rest stop overlooking the waterfall and a dip in the lake with your horse weather permitting with lunch provided.

1 hour rides along the trail to the lakeside road and return.

Golden Ears Provincial Park

Situated near Maple Ridge in the North Fraser Valley, a 90 minute drive from Vancouver, this park is the Lower Mainland's finest wilderness area with excellent horseback riding trails.


1 hour ride through lower Golden Ears and parts of Maple Ridge. 

2 hour Mike Lake tour includes rest stop at this quiet secluded mountain lake.

2 hour Lookout Point scenic tour. A challenging ride crossing one of Golden Ears two waterfalls. Rest stop at a beautiful vista overlooking Alouette Lake.

2 hour Walk Trot Tour. Have some riding experience? Want to enjoy more than a casual walk? Our 2 hour Walk Trot takes us along part of the lower Alouette Trail where you can enjoy a little more speed before winding down the mountain (Sorry no galloping - footing is not suitable) 

1/2 day walk trot canter on Alouette mountain up to a bird's eye view of Alouette Lake.

Full day Alouette Lake and Gold Creek tours. Ride through the lush rainforest of Golden Ears to Gold Creek OR a tour to Aloutte Lake and take a refreshing dip on the beach. Lunch provided on full day trips. 

While in Golden Ears be sure to visit the waterfalls - a 20 minute hike from Gold Creek to the natural rock pools and refreshing waterfalls.
 

Night Under the Stars
Feeling adventurous? Join us on one our rustic overnight packing trips to Gold Creek in Golden Ears park and enjoy a night sleeping under the stars. This 2 day trip takes you through the Golden Ears rainforest up to Gold Creek. You can play and swim with the horses in the swimming hole weather permitting. This is a rustic and minimalist trip. You will be required to pack your own sleeping gear and provisions just like when you go hiking. If you have never ridden before we highly recommend that you take the introductory lesson prior to the excursion date. You will need to demonstrate that you can handle and manage your own horse. Pitt Lake

Located in Pitt Meadows, a 45 - 60 minute drive from Vancouver.


 
2 hour riverside tour. Enjoy the natural beauty of Pitt River and the surrounding moutains and reserve on this easy ride.

Starting at Grants Narrows Park located on Pitt Lake, we walk, trot and canter this beautiful 1/2 day scenic ride. It offers the serenity of the wildlife reserve and the majesty of the coastal mountains along Pitt River and lower Pitt Lake. Enjoy seasonal bird life and occasional deer and bear sightings.

 

Dyke Rides
 


 


A 1 hour serene ride along the banks of Fraser River surrounded by vast cranberry and hay fields with majestic Mt Baker as a backdrop. Minimum booking 2 persons. Must have some riding experience.
